Established midfielder Paul Pogba has been in the limelight for both his exceptional on-field play and his great popularity off the pitch. Paul Pogba makes the news this year as he ends his contract with Manchester United in 2022. This summer his contract ended with the club and he has decided not to renew the same. He transferred to the club in August of the year 2016. He came in as a France international, a pass-out from United’s academy. He then moved on to Juventus, the Italian team. He again rejoined United for an amount of 89 million EUR when the transfer window opened in the summer of 2016.

 

Experts point out that, confidence, physicality, and skill are what set him apart and made him an asset to both Juventus and Manchester United. He was an enigma when he played at Old Trafford. He was under three managers which included Sir Alex Ferguson as well. The latter struggled to work with him though he did win a medal in a World Cup during this period as well as four titles in Serie A.

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba will spent one more month on the sidelines as he continues his rehabilitation from the injury he suffered while on national team duty with world champions France in November.

Paul Pogba has been out of action due to a groin injury picked up on France duty several weeks ago. He was injured when Manchester United lost 4-1 to hosts Watford in the Premier League towards the end of November and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was sacked as the Red Devils manager shortly after the game.

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba was a surprise omission after the nominees for the first monthly award of the new Premier League campaign was announced on Thursday. Frenchman Paul Pogba was missing on the list of six nominees for the Premier League Player of the Month for August 2021.

Paul Pogba has been one of the best players for Manchester United after the first three games of the new league season. Manchester United had a representative on the list of nominees and that was England international Mason Greenwood.  While Pogba has the most assists amongst Manchester United players and in the Premier League in general, Greenwood has scored the most goals at Manchester United alongside Portuguese international Bruno Fernandes.

Manchester United will pay star midfielder Paul Pogba a big sum of money if he leaves the club this summer amidst the transfer rumours of a move to the Parc des Princes. The Frenchman has been touted as a possible addition to the squad at Mauricio Pochettino’s disposal at Paris Saint Germain (PSG). The report of the payment to Paul Pogba was made by The Sun. It was revealed that the Red Devils would pay Pogba the sum of £15m if he’s sold to PSG this summer due to the clause in his contract at the club. Manchester United won’t pay Pogba unless he leaves as a free agent at the end of his current deal next summer or if he hands in a transfer request.

Lindelof won the best player accolade as Sweden forced Spain to a goalless draw in their first game at the Euro 2020 tournament. He helped the Swedes keep a clean sheet against hosts Spain in Seville. The Spaniards wasted the few chances that came their way on the back of dominating the game. Central striker Alvaro Morata was the most culpable for the home team who disappointed fans with the results earned against the Swedes.

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba was back to his best in the colours of world champions France in their friendly win over Bulgaria on Tuesday night. In their final warm-up match before their Euro 2020 campaign begin, France thrashed Bulgaria 3-0 and Paul Pogba was one of their best players.

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer provided an update on the injury to Paul Pogba in his pre-match press conference last week as he pointed out that the Frenchman still need a few weeks before he returns to action. Paul Pogba has been missing in action for the Red Devils since he sustained a thigh injury during the Premier League game between his team and Everton at Old Trafford last month. Paul Pogba has missed the last six games for Manchester United as a result of the aforementioned thigh injury. The Frenchman won’t be back until after the March international break as confirmed by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in his pre-match press conference on Friday ahead of the league outing between hosts Chelsea and Manchester United. Without Paul Pogba, Manchester United were not able to beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday as the two teams played out a goalless draw. The talking point of the dull game came in the first half when Chelsea player Callum Hudson-Odoi was lucky not to concede a penalty when he handled the ball in the Blues box.
