Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has said that the players were disrespectful to the club and fans during the embarrassing 4-0 league defeat at the hands of Everton. The Red Devils had gone into the game with a four-match losing streak on the road and they could not change the statistic with the Toffees dominating the proceedings through the entire 90 minutes.

Speaking after the game, Pogba acknowledged that the entire team including himself produced a disrespectful performance and the results could yet hamper their prospects of making the top four in the Premier League, he told Sky Sports: “I wish I knew [what went wrong]. Former Manchester United graduate Ben Thornley has urged Paul Pogba to ignore Real Madrid by suggesting that the Red Devils are in a much better position to deliver trophy success in the forthcoming years. The France international recently spoke about the ambition of playing for the European champions and multiple reports thereafter have tipped Los Blancos to make an approach for his signature.

Former Chelsea ace Tony Cascarino believes Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may consider the possible sale of Paul Pogba in the summer, should he be appointed as the permanent Manchester head coach. Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has expanded his team ranks this summer but the German is yet looking to land another. There are reports that Liverpool could sign Adrien Rabiot if he would come at no further cost to the Merseyside club.

Klopp tried landing Rabiot while he was coach of Borussia Dortmund but it didn’t happen. He is still a fan of the player even though his offerings are somewhat limited now.
