Juventus keen to take back Paul Pogba in the summer transfer window

Manchester United and Juventus have been on discussions regarding the transfer of Paul Pogba. He was transferred to United from Juventus on a record-breaking transfer fee of £89.3 million on a five-year contract in 2016. He has made 99 appearances for United and scored 24 goals. He was present on the squad 2018 FIFA World Cup who won the title.

Pogba, in this season, has been injured and was forced to stay in the sidelines. He has only played a few games due to the injury. His injury led Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to bring Bruno Fernandes to the club who has been an impressive player for United so far.

The French midfielder has shown interest on leaving and there were doubts regarding his position in the club as he was absent for most of the games this season. The player has two years left in his contract which leaves the decision on United’s hand. Solskjaer and some other teammates have shown interest in how Pogba and Fernandes will be working together in the field. Many clubs have shown interest towards him including Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus, and Inter Milan.

Many of the clubs have offered players as everyone is having financial issues due to the cancellation of games in fear of COVID 19 pandemic. According to Sky Sports, Juventus is offering Federico Bernardeschi who is a winger and will fit right into the plans Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Juventus are ready to offer other players or to offer money to bring one of the highest-paid footballers to the club. Douglas Costa and Alex Sandro are other players offered by Juventus. Pogba values £150 million and it is highly doubtful if United will accept these deals. They have mentioned such deals are difficult to be completed and there is a slight chance of Pogba staying in United. Besides that, apart from Juventus, there are many big clubs who will like to have Pogba on their side.
