Pogba Wins United Player Of The Month Award

Following the delicious form he has been in recently, Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba was rewarded for his sublime performances after being named the club’s player of the month for January. The French Midfielder has been in such an eccentric form for the Red Devils since the turn of the year and eventually won the gong after receiving as much as 55% of the entire votes.

This is now the fifth time he has won the personal gong after joining the club from Italian Serie A outfit Juventus. The towering midfielder, despite constantly being heavily linked with a move away from United looks to have finally found his feet at the club and us proving to be undroppable so far this season judging by his current form.

Pogba has shown how much of an important player he is to United after helping them secure victories away from home in two of their recent games against Burnley and Fulham. There have been a lot of talk about him not having his head settled at the club, especially after his agent Mini Raiola came out in public to make controversial remarks about his client reportedly being an unhappy figure at Old Trafford and that he has already decided to move on. However, with his recent performances, he had  been able to quash those rumors and has also revealed that he is happy at United.

United manager Olé Gunnar Solksjær will be pleased with how one of his important players is finally getting to show his characteristics and will hope that he continues in this fashion as they aim to try and keep up with Manchester City and Liverpool. The Red Devils are also in the running to clinch the Premier League title and are level on points with their local rivals City who have two games in hand.
